Types of Sleep Treatments
What we Offer
CPAP and BiPAP are devices used to treat sleep apnea. CPAP & BiPAP therapy provides pressurized air through a mask to keep your airways open during sleep, preventing breathing interruptions and improving oxygen flow.
Positional therapy is a sleep treatment for patients to overcome Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA). The patient wears a device around their waist or back that will prevent them from sleeping on their back or sleeping in a non-supine position.
Inspire Hypoglossal Nerve Stimulation (HGNS) is an innovative implant-based treatment for obstructive sleep apnea. HGNS is a small implantable pacemaker-like device that allows patients to stimulate airway muscles during sleep to keep airways open. Inspire HGNS is for patients who can’t handle CPAP therapy.
CBT is drug-free to treat Insomnia and other sleep disorders and helps you change negative thoughts and habits during your sleep. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) includes relaxation and sleep scheduling for overcoming nighttime anxiety.
Custom-fitted oral appliances are dental devices or mouthpieces used to reposition the jaw and tongue to keep airways open during sleep. Oral appliances are an alternative to CPAP for treating mild to moderate obstructive sleep apnea and chronic snoring.
Medications are used to manage specific sleep disorders such as narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, or short-term Insomnia. Depending on your condition, we prescribe the best medications to improve sleep quality or daytime alertness.
Surgery is recommended for severe cases of sleep apnea or structural issues causing airway obstruction. Options are removing excess tissue, repositioning the jaw, or implanting devices such as Inspire HGNS to restore natural breathing during sleep.
